Polacek, Michael
Michael Polacek has authored several articles dealing with stochastic local search procedures for routing problems in the recent years. His studies began with a degree in Business Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology, and he has defended his master's thesis at the University of Vienna. Based on this initial work on VNS for an enriched vehicle routing problem, he has continued his studies in this field and completed his doctorate thesis at the University of Vienna which involved comprehensive work on a broad range of routing problems.
