Nils Boysen is Professor of Operations Management at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena (Germany). He received a Diploma Degree and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg. From 2000-2002 he worked for IBM Global Services. His research interests lie in production and operations management as well as optimization techniques. His work has been published in many international journals including European Journal of Operational Research, OR Spectrum and IIE Transactions.
