Sönke Albers is Professor of Innovation and Marketing at Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel since 1990. He received his doctoral degree from University of Hamburg in 1977 in Business Administration and Operations Research. Later on, he specialized in Innovation and Marketing and got his "Habilitation" in 1982 at Kiel. Prior to his current position he served on the faculties of WHU and University of Lüneburg. He holds an Honorary Doctorate from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University of Frankfurt. Currently, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of BuR - Business Research
